Bonnets and Things is proud to sponsor riders of all levels across the country. We currently have three active sponsorships:

Ellen Doughty-Hume, Pegasus Eventing

Four star level Event Rider. USEA ICP level 3 Instructor. USEF Silver & Bronze Medalist. Competed through Prix St Georges Dressage & Grand Prix Show Jumping.

Ellen Doughty-Hume operates Pegasus Eventing out of Rockwall Hills Equestrian Center in Rockwall, TX. When she is not campaigning Obie at the top levels of the sport, Ellen retrains OTTBs for the sport of eventing. She has a current string of young thoroughbreds making their way up the levels, currently competing at Training and Prelim. She also teaches dozens of children and adults on a daily basis, from walk-trotters to seasoned riders.

Kaylee Cospito, KC Eventing

Kaylee Cospito is a 3 day eventer located in the Pacific Northwest. She rides her horse Copper, an off the track Thoroughbred, and is hoping to one day compete at the upper levels of eventing! Kaylee is also a YouTuber, posting videos of her daily equestrian life. View her channel here!

Rebecca Barber, Dappir Ridge Eventing

Rebecca is an event rider currently based in Charlottesville, VA. Following graduation from the College of William and Mary, Rebecca delayed her entrance to the corporate world, instead deciding to move to Pennsylvania to train with and work for US Team Rider, Buck Davidson. At Team BDJ, Rebecca was able to experience first hand the many facets involved with running a performance barn. During her time with Buck, Rebecca successfully moved her OTTB up to preliminary and competed at the 1* level of eventing. Rebecca recently moved back to Virginia where she is teaching and riding for Dappir Ridge Eventing. While she has upper level aspirations, Rebecca finds her niche in working with both young horses and junior riders, enjoying the process of producing future talent.
